Top > Getting Started > Shared interface for Service Manager and Provance > View pane > Viewing the assets related to an item
There are many places where you can view the hardware assets that are related to a specific item, such as from an incident or from a computer CI. In all instances you need to first link the hardware asset to the item. For each instance, the following table describes how to link an item with the asset and then how to view the item’s related hardware assets.
This intermediate view is in fact an advanced search result that can be filtered, exported, etc.
